ひぐらしのなく頃に」より[hello] lyrics

For this song.. I hadn’t found existing translated lyrics either.

Therefore, I decided to go and translate this song. While it’s reprinted in [生まれてきてくれてありがとう/Umaretekite Kurete Arigatou], it was originally printed on a CD called ひぐらしのなく頃に」より/Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni: [yours].

This song, at most, is spoken in Satoshi Hojo’s point of view due to the context and notably, the youtube video link of the PV that covers this song.

Again, the translation is imperfect and a bit messy as I had reprinted lyrics from a third party which may, in turn, attained it from another third party. Additionally, my experience has been a little over a year and with a use of various resources, I was able to translate this song to show its  innermost meaning spoken from its native language into a language that is understandable to English-speaking readers. nadete ageru “erakatta ne” tte

* the definition listed its meanings as “excellent, great..” and the like. It also denoted kana as “terrible/awful.”
While it would’ve been the rule to use that, the use of the kana may have been purposely displayed like that for casual speech patterns.

Kimi ga soba ni ite kuretan da ne
(I want you to) stay by my side

*While I could have written this a bit clearer, it’s written so that it follows the grammar rule where it expresses the expression of “having the experience of.” However, it’s also written casually, a portion that I do not have much experience in.

*Stylistic: “yoku” means often, but to keep the lyrics flowing properly, I used an expression instead.
